The Manhattan is an exciting  restaurant built on the foundations of passion, enthusiasm and most importantly a love of food, good service and each other.  This is the vision shared by Jonathan Reeves and Catherine Keown

Talented head chef and proprietor Jonathan explains “We are so excited that our hard work will finally pay off and that our dream has really come to fruition. Now, we can concentrate on offering a warm and casual setting where people can come to enjoy good food and a heartfelt service”.

Sit down, take a moment and concentrate on the menu; a menu that has been created with the desire, not just to feed, but to inspire, captivate and please the palette. This modern Irish menu takes influences from Europe and further afield to produce a truly exciting array of dishes.

It has been long since the days of customer interaction – quick service and menus that explain every detail have pushed out listening, laughing and talking to your server. At the Manhattan customer service is back! This 60 seat restaurant is encouraging people to ask about the food, wine or even the weather. They believe that a dining experience should be exactly that, an experience.

The food itself, seasonal and locally sourced wherever possible, is exciting and fresh but kept simple and easy to enjoy.

Here the meat is succulent, fish is ocean fresh and vegetables come from the land, not the freezer. Homemade bread, chocolate and ice-cream perfectly compliment the seasonal changing menus.

Our influences are an eclectic mix from street food through to fine dining, using the best Irish produce we can source.  Served in a warm and casual setting, creating a memorable dining experience.
